Come and see our Arts Trail on the last weekend of September!

On Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September artists will be exhibiting and selling their work in their homes and in venues and public spaces throughout St Werburghs. There will also be free workshops and live performances of classical, folk and rock music.

As well as paintings and prints, you’ll see a variety of crafts such as silversmithing, ceramics, enamelling, Macrame, wood turning and brass etching. It’s a good chance to get ahead with your Christmas shopping; you’ll find jewelry, pottery, glasswork, textiles and much more for sale.

Rosie Webb, Miss Rochie Makes, Lily Bloom and Mary Ashton will all be running workshops for young people and adults throughout the art trail. Each one is offering something different, and the chance to take something away.

On Saturday afternoon local musicians Megs Emrys www.megsemrys.com/music/, Nebraska www.facebook.com/nebraskabandbristol/ and Cathal Dowd .facebook.com/cathaldowdmusic/ will be performing folk and rock music in The Farm pub garden. Amati Quartet and Gert Lush Men’s Choir will be performing in the Mina Road tunnel on Sunday, and What the Folk will be in the Duke of York pub. These are all fantastic performances - don’t miss out!

Find refreshments at the Farm Cafe, Neck of the Woods Cafe (in the community centre), Mina Housing Co-op, Better Foods Cafe and if you’re lucky someone might offer you a cup of tea at a small venue or exhibiting house!

There's also a great choice of pubs and several excellent local eateries on Mina road.

Full details of all artists, workshops and performances are listed in the Arts Trail brochure and on this website. Brochures will be available in community centres and local shops so make sure to book the weekend in your diary!
